Manchester United have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo on a 6 month loan deal. The move comes after United’s search for a striker was halted after Joshua King’s move from Bournemouth hit a snag.
United, then, moved quickly on deadline to sign the Shanghai Shenua star. Ighalo will travel Manchester over the next 72 hours and will begin training.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was delighted with the signing:
“Odion is an experienced player. He will come in and give us an option of a different type of centre-forward for the short spell he’s staying with us.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Odion Ighalo
