And early reports from the Sky Sports and The BBC indicate that Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is one of the contenders to take the job on a temporary basis. Laurent Blanc also is being mentioned as a strong favourite. The same reports indicate no club insider like Carrick or Butt will be given the role as United look for some stability.
